The Seventh International Conference on Multimodal Interfaces (ICMI 2005) will take place in Trento, Italy October 3-7, 2005, with the theme of multimodal input and output interfaces through mobile technologies and applications. The main aim of ICMI 2005 is to further scientific research within the broad field of multimodal interaction & systems. The conference will focus on major trends and challenges in this area, including distilling a roadmap for future research and commercial success. We are very pleased to announce this Call for Papers that invites experts from both research and industry to actively participate in ICMI 2005.

1st I*PROMS Virtual International Conference on Intelligent Production Machines and Systems, IPROMS 2005, 4-15 July 2005.

IPROMS 2005 is an online web-based conference that seeks to provide a platform for presenting, discussing and disseminating research results contributed by scientists and industrial practitioners active in the area of intelligent systems and soft computing techniques and their application in different areas of manufacturing. The conference proceedings will be published as a book and a CD-ROM.

The 2005 International Conference on New Interfaces for Musical Expression is the 5th conference on new musical interface design and follows the initial NIME workshop at CHI 2001. Since then, international conferences have been held in Dublin, Montreal and Hamamatsu.
